A New Record:

Three installations in one day! One of these was close to home, in Nellukundi, but the other two farms we’re working with are quite a ways west of here, near a town called Thalli. Anand and I were on our way home from the Thalli installations when we decided to check in on Chinna Thambe and Perya Thambe. The brothers have finally finished re-terracing their fields and creating a reservoir pond, using a backhoe. It took a bit of time to get the water flowing through the newly reconfigured pipes, but once we got it into the tank, the drip system worked like a charm.

Meanwhile, back in Arsajul, at one of our first installations, Mani called us down to the field to check out the pepper plants: they’re blooming! Hot chilies are on their way.
